Student Parking

West Potomac Online Parking Permits will open for SENIORS on Aug 1st and for JUNIORS on Aug 5thThe online process will register and reserve your parking permit.  Before you begin the online registration for a student parking permit at West Potomac, please be mindful of the following:

  • You must be in good financial standing before purchasing a parking pass, all owed obligations must be cleared by the finance office before final approval of your parking pass payment.  Please contact Ms. John at 703-718-2515 to clear your obligations. Obligation letters were mailed home in early July.  You will be able to pay your obligations in MySchoolBucks, or you can pay in person at the West Potomac Finance Office.
  • You must have a valid driver’s license or your temporary driver's license certificate in order to receive your parking permit.
  • This online process will reserve your parking pass by collecting all required information and processing your payment.  Parking passes will be issued the week of Aug. 19th at the WP Safety and Security Office upon verification of your driver’s license, insurance, payment and obligations.

Students and parents are reminded that parking on the West Potomac High School campus during normal school hours is by permit only. The visitor spaces in front of the school are reserved for persons having a legitimate need to meet with counselors, teachers, etc. and are not for overflow parking.
