Mr. Fabian Named FCPS Region 3 Outstanding Secondary Teacher!
Mr. McMahon, Ms. Bell Also Recognized at FCPS Honors
Congratulations to Geosystems TeacherTyler Fabian who was recognized at the annual FCPS Honors event as the 2019 Region 3 Outstanding Secondary New Teacher and one of five finalists for this year's Outstanding Secondary New Teacher Award!
Mr. Fabian is an energetic and passionate educator. He embraces the diversity of his students and makes them feel welcome with a special sense of belonging in his classroom. As CT Lead for Geosystems and Assistant Coach for Winter and Spring Track, Mr. Fabian displays a commitment to the success of his students both inside and outside of the classroom. He incorporates Project-Based Learning into his classroom in order to engage students in creative, hands-on activities. As sponsor of the Ecology Club, he helped establish the Get2Green program to increase student participation in school-wide recycling. Mr. Fabian serves his students and community with a strong work ethic and encourages them, leading by example, to become the best version of themselves.
