West Potomac Out of the Darkness Walk
Suicide prevention starts with everyday heroes like you. Join us on March 28th, 2020 at West Potomac High School as we walk to fight suicide and raise awareness about mental health. Be a part of the movement turning hope into action, and create a culture that’s smart about mental health. Funds raised at the walks will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Everyone is welcome to participate!
Civic Engagement Absences
Parents of students in grades 7-12 may request one partial-day absence for civic engagement activities, such as legislative visits, awareness walks, nonprofit support, or advocacy efforts by submitting a prearranged absence form.
All Night Graduation Celebration
ANGC is a supervised, drug and alcohol-free celebration of the class of 2020’s K-12 adventure. This year's party takes place June 4, 2020 at West Potomac High School. Tickets are available now. ANGC's success relies on community support. Volunteer now on the organizing committee or later at the event. All financial contributions are warmly welcomed.
